VIRGINIA CHAMLEE'S FAVORITE SOCIAL MEDIA CREATORS
More than 100,000 people follow our special guest, Virginia Chamlee, on Instagram, where she’s built a devoted audience by sharing exceptional vintage finds and thoughtful styling tips. While her page inspires so many, have you ever wondered who she turns to for inspiration on social media?

Below is a list of Virginia’s go-to accounts for design inspiration and styling ideas:
Cortney Bishop Design - @cortneybishopdesign
This Charleston-based interior designer is one of my favorites — in part because she is so deft at mixing new and old. I find myself bookmarking her posts both for styling and sourcing inspiration.
Jen Wonders - @jen_wonders
Jen is an expert at styling with vintage brooches and sourcing insane vintage blazers. But her own home is gorgeous, too and always gives me ideas on what to add to mine. But if you want to know how to style a blazer, I’m telling you, there’s no one more skilled at it.
Tamsin Johnson - @tamsinjohnson
She has a real knack for styling with vintage and all of her spaces are so artfully done — textured walls, gorgeous details. She uses a lot of vintage Italian mirrors in her bathroom projects, which is something I want to try.
Ann-Sophie Ulka - @Fieluka
I love Ann-Sophie’s vibe (I think she’s Copehagen based?) and her videos. She sources incredible vintage and I especially love seeing how it all comes together in her home.
The Beaux Store - @thebeauxstore
If you want to know what kind of art to thrift, just follow The Beaux Store. They often partner with influencers and tastemakers on art edits, and everything is vintage.
The Expert Store - @theexpertstore
It almost feels silly to recommend following The Expert because you probably do already (if you’re unfamiliar: it’s a website that allows you to book online consultations with top designers). But they also have a stellar vintage curation from sellers all over the world — and the prices are very high. Even if you don’t have the budget for a $65,000 coffee table, you can get so many ideas (and learn more about value and what to thrift).
Free Forms - @offcialfreeformsnyc
If it’s pottery and ceramics you’re after, you must follow Free Forms, as this is their specialty. They have a hyper-specific focus on 20th century ceramics, glass, metalware, and lighting
Studio Nordic - @studiionordicnyc
As the name suggests, this dealer specializes in Scandinavian design. The wares are so romantic and special, and I am now on the hunt for a ceramic floral mirror.
PRB Collection - @prb.collection
They have stock of more than 10,0000 vintage items, which ship from their High Point, North Carolina headquarters. Everything is incredible, from the sculptural wooden chairs to the light fixtures.
Past Live Studio - @pastlives.studio
This is an interior design studio and showroom for 19th and 20th century furniture, so expect everything from 1940s French brass mirrors to Murano glass pitchers.
